How to add google search functionality in an android app ?

•     Add the following code to res/layout/activity_main.xml.

•     Add the following code to src/MainActivity.java

      btnSearch.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {
         @Override
         public void onClick(View v) {
            Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_WEB_SEARCH);
            String term = editText.getText().toString();
            intent.putExtra(SearchManager.QUERY, term);
            startActivity(intent);
         }
      });
   }
}

•     Add the following code to androidManifest.xml
